    Creamy Cottage Cheese Dessert

    Makes 6 servings


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 container (16 ounces) creamed cottage cheese
    • 1 pkg.3 ounces, cream cheese
    • 1 cup 10x sugar
    • 1 1/2taaablespoons lemon juice
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1/2 cup heavy cream
    • frest fruit


    Instructions


    1. press cottage cheese through a sieve or food mill, into a large bowl.
    2. Add creamcheese, 10x sugar, lemon juice and vanilla, beat with wire whisk or electric mixer untl thoroughly blended.
    3. Beat cream in a small bowl until soft peaks form, fold into cottage cheese mixture.
    4. line a heart-shaped basket or medium size sieve (about 6 inches wide) with 2 layers of damp cheesecloth. Spoon mixture nto basket. Level mixture by giving basket a firm tap over the bowl. Fold overhanging ends of the cloth over the mixture. Place basket over bowl to catch dripping liquid. refrigerate 24 hours.
    5. When ready to serve carefully peel back cheesecloth and insert the dessert over the serving plate. spread with berries and garnish with mint.
