    Spinach Cheese Calzone

    Recipe Introduction


    An Easter favorite.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
    • 1/2 cup grated parmesan or romano cheese
    • 1/2 lb. mozzarilla cheese, cubed
    • 2 lbs. ricotta cheese
    • 3 eggs
    • pinch of black pepper
    • 1 or 2 tubes of Philsbury bread dough


    Instructions


    1. Defrost spinach and squeeze dry. Combine with grated cheese, mozzarella, ricotta, eggs and black pepper.
    2. Take bread dough and roll out to 1/4 inch thick. Make a nice large square, then cut square in 4 pieces. Put filling in center of square and fold over to form a half moon shape. Seal well and brush tops with egg wash.
    3. Bake in preheated 350degree F. oven for 15 - 20 minutes or until nicely browned.
