    Cajun Rub Seasnoning

    This is Emeril Lagasse's Rub. I make a double recipe and always keep a jar on hand.
    I use it for shrimp on the barbeque. I just mix it with 2 Tablespoons of oil and rub all over the shrimp about an hour before cooking. Nice and spicy!


    List of Ingredients


    • 3 tablespoons paprika
    • 2 tablespoons salt
    • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
    • 1 tablespoon black pepper
    • 1 tablespoon onion powder
    • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
    • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
    • 1 tablespoon dried thyme


    Instructions


    1. Mix all the ingredients together in an air tight jar. Store seasoning away from heat and light. Makes about 3/4 cup.
