    Pork Chops with Scalloped Potatoes

    This is a recipe from LaDonna's Cookbook here at the Recipe Circus. I modified it a little bit. Yummy!


    List of Ingredients


    • 6-8 Pork chops
    • 5 cups potatoes, sliced thin
    • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 1 can cream of mushroom soup, condensed
    • 1 cup cream


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown porkchops in oil and butter. Remove to platter. Brown onions in drippings from pork chops.


    2. Place 1/2 of the potatoes in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with cheese and add remaining potatoes.

    3. Place pork chops on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Put onions on top of pork chops.
    4. Mix soup and cream in a small bowl and pour over the chops and potatoes. Cover and bake for 1 hour, remove cover and bake another 30 minutes.
