    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound collards (washed and chopped)
    • 2 or 3 coloves garlic
    • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
    • 1/8 teaspoon tumeric
    • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
    • Cayenne pepper to taste
    • Salt to taste
    • 3 teaspoons lemon juice


    Instructions


    1. Heat the oil, brown garlic and cumin
    2. Add collards, tumeric, salt and cayenne pepper to the oil.
    3. Mix well and cover. In 15 - 20 minutes collards will be tender.
    4. Squeeze the lemon onto collards. Let cook 5 minutes.
    5. Eat with Pita or with any roasted meat.
