    Peanut Butter 'n' Cocoa Cookies

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 stick margarine, softened
    • 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 egg
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/4 cup baking cocoa
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • Sugar


    Instructions


    1. In large mixing bowl, beat together margarine, peanut butter, and sugar on medium speed. Add in egg; beat until fluffy. Scrape down sides. Beat in baking powder, salt, vanilla and cocoa. Scrape down sides. Beat in flour. Cover dough and chill in refrigerator until easy to handle.

    2. Shape dough in to 1-inch balls. Roll balls in additional sugar to coat. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten balls with fork making criss-cross marks. Bake at 375°F for 7 to 9 minutes. Remove cookies from sheets to wire racks to cool.
