    From Annelle Johnson Spencer--given to me in 1971 or 1972


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 lbs ground chuck
    • 1 garlic clove minced
    • 1 cup of onions - diced
    • 1 2lb can of tomato sauce
    • 1 can Bush's Chili Hot beans
    • 2 teaspoons salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
    • 3 tablespoons of Mexicana Chili powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
    • 3 or 4 shakes of garlic powder
    • 2 tablespoons of Worcheshire sauce
    • 1 cup hot water
    • + 1 more tablespoon of chili powder


    Instructions


    1. Brown beef in pan..take beef out and leave grease in. In grease brown garlic, and onion. Brown until onion is tender. Put meat back in pan. Add remaining ingredients.
    2. Simmer with cover on for 1 or 1 1/2 hours. Stir every 30 minutes. Affer cooking add 1 more tablespoon of chili powder.
