    Simple, fast and easy appetizer for any occasion. This is one of my recipes I never measure for,

    List of Ingredients




    10 oz. pkg. white mushrooms
    Bisquick
    Beer
    Panko Crumbs
    Canola oil for frying
    marinara sauce for dipping

    Recipe



    Before beginning I wipe off each mushroom with a clean terry washcloth. In a large bowl I add bisquick about 1 1/2 cups to start with. I then pour in the beer until I have a pancake like batter consistency. I use whatever brand beer my guys happen to have in the fridge.
    Take each mushroom, stems included and dip into the beer batter then roll in the panko crumbs. Heat canola oil in deep pan ( I use my electric frying skillet). Fry each breaded mushroom in canola oil until golden brown on all sides. Remove and set on paper towel lined platter. Before serving, move from paper towel lined platter and place in serving dish alongside a bowl of warm marinara sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
