3/4 C butter or margarine
1 1/2 C sugar
2 T water
12 oz pkg choc chips
2 eggs
2 1/2 C flour
1 1/4 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
Andes Mints..I usually get 2 pkg.
Recipe
1. Melt margarine, sugar, water and choc chips...cool 10 minutes.
2. Mix in eggs...add dry ingredients and chill 1 hour
Shape into balls (I use a scoop)
Bake on lightly greased sheet ( I use parchment paper instead)
12-13 min at 350º
When you take them out of the oven put an Andes Mint on top...let soften and swirl to frost. Depending on the size of your cookie, 1/2 mint may be big enough.
Don't over bake...I bake them 12 min in my oven.
