Southwestern Pork Chop Casserole
List of Ingredients
1tablespoon oil
4 pork chops
1 medium onion -- chopped
4 ounces canned chop green chilies
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 1/2 cups instant rice
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can water
3 tablespoons soy sauce
Recipe
In a skillet, heat oil over medium high heat.
Brown pork chops on both sides. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sautEonion, chilies and celery until onion is tender.
Stir in rice; sautEuntil lightly browned.
Add soup, water and soy sauce; blend well.
Place in a greased 2-qt. baking dish.
Top with pork chops and bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until rice is tender.
