    13/4cup all-purpose flour or unbleached flour.
    1/2cup sugar
    1/2cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1Tsp baking soda
    1/2Tsp salt
    1/2cup shortening
    1/2cup peanut butter
    2Tbsp milk
    1Tsp vanilla
    1egg
    About 48 milk chocolate candy kisses

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 375F. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
    In large bowl, combine flour, 1/2cup sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, shortening, peanut butter, milk, vanilla and egg at low speed until stiff dough forms.
    Sharpe into 1-inch balls, roll in sugar.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 375F for 10-12min or until golden brown.
    Immediately top each cookie with a candy kiss, pressing edge; remove from cookie sheets.
