    LINGUINE WITH CLAM SAUCE

    List of Ingredients

    LINGUINE WITH CLAM SAUCE
    6 servings

    2Tbsp olive oil
    1 medium-size onion chopped
    4cloves garlic
    2cans(6.5 ounce each) chopped clams
    1/4 Tsp dried basil
    1Tsp dried parsley
    1/2Tsp dried oregano
    1/4Tsp red-pepper flakes
    1/8 Tsp salt
    1 clove garlic pressed (optional)
    1 pound linguine, cooked following package directions


    Recipe

    1. Heat oil in medium-size saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and chopped garlic; sauteE5min or until onion is slightly softened
    2. Meanwhile, strain liquid from clams; add liquid to onion skillet, reserving clams. Add parsley, oregano, basil, pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Simmer 5 min
    3. Stir in clams and pressed garlic clove if using; remove from heat. Add pasta; toss to mix. Serve immediately.
