    COUNTRY FRIED CHICKEN

    1/2cup milk
    1 egg slightly beaten
    1cup flour
    2 Tsp garlic salt
    1Tsp paprika
    1Tsp black pepper
    1/4Tsp poultry seasoning
    1 broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
    Oil

    Recipe




    1. Combine milk and egg in medium bowl. Set a side.
    2. Combine flour, garlic, salt, paprika, pepper and poultry seasoning in paper or plastic bag.
    3. Add a few pieces of chicken at a time. Shake to coat
    4. Dip chicken in milk-egg mixture. Shake second time in flour mixture
    5. Skillet or deep fry in oil. To skillet to fry, heat ½ to I inch oil to 365 degrees in electric or in large heavy skillet on medium-high heat. Brown chicken on all side.
    6. Reduce heat to 275 or medium-low heat.
    7. Continue cooking until chicken is tender about 30-40min.
    8. Do not cover. Turn chicken several time during cooking.
    9. Drain paper towels. To keep fry, heat 2 or 3 inches oil to 365 degrees in deep fryer or deep saucepan.
    10. Fry chicken for 15-18min. Drain paper towel.
