    Beef & Rice Casserole

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb ground beef, brown and drain
    3 cans tomato soup
    3 Tablespoons Chili Powder
    2 cups white rice, prepared
    Slices of Velveeta Cheese


    Recipe



    Pre-cook 2 cups of white rice and set aside. In a medium sized pan, cook ground beef over med-high heat until brown, and drain. Add the 3 cans of tomato soup and the 3 TBSP of chili powder to the ground beef and stir well. Simmer and stir over medium heat until heated throughout.

    Spray a deep casserole dish* lightly with PAM. Layer 1/2 the plain cooked rice in the bottom spreading to the sides. Next, put 1/2 of the ground beef mixture on top of the rice, and cut through with a spoon to moisten all the rice. Place 3 thin slices of Velveeta on top of the beef mixture. Continue by putting the rest of the rice on top of that, then the rest of the beef mixture, again cutting through the middle to moisten all rice, then top with thicker slices of Velveeta to cover the top. Bake for 25 minutes at 400 °
