    ICE BOX FRUIT CAKE

    List of Ingredients




    This is the one Mom always made.

    1 pound graham cracker crumbs
    1 pound marshmallows
    1/2 pound raisins
    2 cups chopped nuts
    1 cup evaporated milk
    1-10oz.jar maraschino cherries(drained)

    Recipe



    Combine milk and marshmallows in top part of double boiler. heat until melted. In a large bowl, mix crumbs, raisins,nuts cherries. pour marshmallow mixture over and mix thoroughly. Pack firmly in tube pan; cover with foil and and refrigerate for 2 weeks. IT GETS BETTER WITH AGE.
