    SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE

    List of Ingredients




    CAKE:
    1 C Butter
    2 C Sugar
    2 eggs
    1 t vanilla
    1 C sour cream
    2 C flour
    1 t baking powder
    1/4 t salt

    NUT MIXTURE:
    1 C pecans, chopped
    4 T brown sugar
    1 t cinnamon


    Recipe




    Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs, beating well after each. Fold in sour cream and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, which have been mixed together. Spoon half of batter into greased and floured Bundt pan. Sprinkle nut mixture on batter, not letting mixture touch sides of pan. Top with rest of batter. Bake at 350° for 45-60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan.

    NOTES: I usually use a 9x13 pan instead of the Bundt. And the batter is pretty thick, you have to really spread it around. I also usually double the nut mixture recipe - I like alot of pecans!
