Shrimp with Asparagus

List of Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs fresh asparagus
1 lb peeled and deveined medium-sized fresh shrimp
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 large clove garlic, crushed
2 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 1/2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
6 lemon slices

Snap off tough ends of asparagus. Remove scales from stalks with a knife or vegetable peeler, if desired. Cut asparagus into 2 inch pieces. Arrange asparagus in a vegetable steamer over boiling water. Cover and steam 3 minutes. Rinse with cold water; drain. Arrange asparagus in a lightly greased 11x7x11/2 inch baking dish. Place shrimp over asparagus; set aside. Combine butter and next 4 ingredients; stir well. Drizzle butter mixture over shrimp and asparagus; top with lemon slices. Cover and bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Serve over rice.
