Chocolate-Glazed Shortbread

Fleischmann's Margerine
Recipe Introduction
Using margerine cuts down on the cholesterol, but not the taste.
List of Ingredients
- 1 cup Fleischmann's margerine
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate or colored candy melts
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans or candy sprinkles
Instructions
- Cream together Fleischmann's margerine and powdered sugar. Gradually add flour.
- Form half of the dough into an 8-inch long log. Flatten the dough to 1/2-inch thick. Slice into 1/4-inch slices and place cut side down on an ungreased cookie sheet. Repeat with second half of dough.
- Bake at 325*F for 15 minutes or until pale golden brown. Cool.
- Melt chocolate. Dip one end of cookies into chocolate then into nuts or sprinkles. Place on waxed paper until set.
