    **1/2 Sour Pickles**

    This recipe is from my Dad, "The Running Chef" as he calls himself! They are crisp and garlicky!


    List of Ingredients


    • Pickiling cucumbers to fill a 1/2 gallon jar (8-10)
    • 8-10 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 2 Tbsp. pickling salt
    • 1-1/2 tsp. pickling spice
    • 2 cups warm water


    Instructions


    1. Scrub cucumbers under cold water. Pack tightly in jar.
    2. Mix water, garlic, pickling salt and pickling spice.
    3. Stir well and pour over cukes.
    4. Add additional warm water, if needed, to fill jar.
    5. Cover and refrigerate 4 to 5 days.
