    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup milk
    • 4 TBS flour
    • 1/2 cup shortening
    • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Boil flour and milk until thick
    2. Let cool
    3. beat butter, shortening, vanilla and sugar until sugar is thoroughly mixed into the fat. This takes a long time.
    4. Add cooled custard--milk and flour and beat well.
    5. ice cake. Icing can be cooled and must be refridgerated due to milk in icing.
