Recipe Introduction

This is the buttery spread used on those Ham Delight rolls. Mix it up and keep in the frig to spread.

List of Ingredients

2 sticks of whipped margarine (regular marg. works, also)
3 tablespoons poppy seeds
3 tablespoons mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 of a small onion, finely chopped (may add less or next to none)

You might want to cut this recipe in half if you don't want so much.


Recipe

Mix the margarine (room temperature) with other ingredients. Place in covered container and place in the frig for later use or make Ham Delight rolls now as follows:

Slice rolls in half horizontally to separate top and bottom layer. May slice a whole sheet at a time. Spread above mixture on top and bottom slices. Sprinkle shredded cooked, boiled ham over the bottom layer, then shredded Swiss cheese on top of that. Place top layer of roll on top. You may cover with foil and bake at 400 degrees in the oven for 10 minutes or you may place these in the microwave and heat until cheese is melted. You can also use sliced sandwich ham and sliced Swiss cheese.

A good idea to make these up and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator, take out as you want them and microwave them then. These freeze well, also.
