    1� cups flour
    1 cup sugar
    3 tbsp cocoa
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp cream of tartar
    � cup oil
    2/3 cup milk
    1 egg
    � cup boiling water

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350F. Sift dry ingredients together. Add oil, milk, and egg; mix slightly. Add boiling water; beat until well blended. Pour into greased 9x9 pan; bake for 35 minutes. Cool and ice if desired.
