    List of Ingredients


    • 1 qt fresh blackberries
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 3/4 teaspoon allspice
    • 12 whole cloves
    • 2 cups brandy


    Instructions


    1. In gallon jar, combine blackberries, sugar and spices.
    2. Pour in brandy; cover.
    3. Invert jar daily till sugar is dissolved. About 4 days.
    4. Place in cool dark place for a least two months.
    5. Strain through cheesecloth before serving.
