    1 package Betty Crocker Supermoist yellow cake mix
    > 1 cup water
    > 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
    > 3 eggs
    > 1/2 cup maple flavored syrup
    > 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
    > Cream Cheese frosting (below)






    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350. Grease a 12 cup bundt pan with shortening. lightly flour.
    Beat all ingredients except Cream Cheese frosting, in large bowl with mixer on
    low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Pour into pan. Bake
    40-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10
    minutes. remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely, about 2 minutes. Frost cake
    with Cream Cheese frosting. Makes 16 servings.

    Cream Cheese Frosting:
    1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    3 T. butter or margarine, softened
    1 1/2 ounces cream cheese (half of a 3 oz pkg.), softened
    3-4 T. maple flavored syrup

    Beat powdered sugar, butter, cream cheese and 3T of the syrup in a large bowl
    with mixer on low speed. Beat in enough of the remaining syrup to make a
    smooth, soft frosting that will drip down side of cake.
