    Pizza Dough with Beer

    List of Ingredients


    1 1/2 c. Flat Beer
    3 3/4 c. All-Purpose Flour
    3 Tbsp. Sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 tsp Active Dry Yeast (1 hr.50 min)
    ~or~
    2 tsp Rapid Rise Yeast (45 min.-Quick)


    Recipe

    Put ingrediants into bread machine according to manufacturer instructions and select dough cycle (reg. dough for active and quick dough for rapid rise).

    Thick Crust Pizza

    Flour hands lightly. Shape dough into ball. You can divide ball in half and press into 2 12 in. pans or I just use my big one and make a thick crust. Brush with vegitable oil (or butter) and let rise for 15 minutes under a warm damp cloth. Spoon tomatoe sauce over dough. Then top with cheese and topping of your choice. Bake 25-30 minutes at 400 degrees or until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.
