    Fruit and Yogurtsicles

    Source of Recipe

Pillsbury Grilling & Picnics June 1996

    Recipe Introduction

Healthy Hint: These frozen snacks are rich in vitamin C. Make-Ahead Tip: For quick summer snacks, keep a batch of these yogurtsicles in the freezer. They'll retain their flavor and freshness for several weeks.

    List of Ingredients

3 small Bananas -- cut into chunks
1 can Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate -- (6 oz)
    2 containers Yogurt -- low-fat, vanilla (8 oz)
    8 paper drink cups -- (5 oz)
    8 flat wooden sticks

    Recipe

In blender container, combine bananas and orange juice concentrate. Cover; blend until smooth. Add yogurt. Cover; blend until smooth.

Pour into paper drink cups, filling about 3/4 full. Cover each cup with foil. Make small hole in center of foil; insert wooden stick through hole and yogurt mixture to bottom of cup. Freeze 6 to 8 hours or until firm.

To serve, remove foil and gently push from bottom of cup to release pops.

    8 pops
