4 Cups All-purpose Flour
4 1/2 Cups Cornmeal
1 Tablespoon Salt
3/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Baking Powder
1 Cup All Vegetable Shortening
Recipe
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. Stir to combine well. With a pastry blender, cut in shortening until evenly distributed. Add cornmeal and mix well. Pour into a large, airtight container. Label and store in a cool, dry place. Use within 10-12 weeks.
YIELD: 10-1/2 Cups Mix
