    3 Cups Sugar
    3/4 Cup Margarine
    2/3 Cup Carnation Evaporated Milk
    1 Semi-sweet (12 oz. Pkg - 2 cups)
    Chocolate Morsels
    1 Jar Marshmallow Creme (7 oz)
    1 Cup Chopped Nuts
    1 Teaspoon Vanilla
    Walnut Halves
    30 Caramels, quartered, optional

    Recipe



    Combine sugar, margarine and evaporated milk in heavy gauge 2-1/2-3 quart saucepan; bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes over medium heat, or until candy thermometer reaches 238 degrees; stirring constantly to prevent scorching.

    Remove from heat; stir in semi-sweet chocolate morsels until melted. Add marshmallow creme, nuts and vanilla; beat until well blended.

    Pour into a buttered 13x9" baking pan. Top with walnut halves; press into fudge. Cool at room temperature and cut into squares.

    NOTE: To make Turtle Fudge, add the optional caramels when you add the marshmallow creme, pecans and vanilla. Continue with the recipe as above.

    YIELD: 3 Pounds
