    --- Pie Filling ---
    1 Pie Shell (9-inch) baked
    6 Medium Apples, pared, cored and thinly sliced (6 to 8)
    ½ Cup White Granulated Sugar
    ½ Cup Brown Sugar, firmly packed
    2 Tablespoons Flour
    1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
    1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
    1 Dash Nutmeg
    2 Tablespoons Butter
    --- Crumb Topping ---
    1/4 Cup Butter
    1/4 Cup Uncooked Oats
    1/4 Cup Chopped Pecans (optional)
    1/4 Cup Flour
    1/4 Cup Brown Sugar, firmly packed
    ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon

    Recipe



    Pie Filling: Bake pie shell and set aside. Combine rest of Pie Filling ingredients with the exception of the butter. Pour filling into the baked pie shell and dot with reserved butter.

    Crumb Topping: Thoroughly combine all Crumb Topping ingredients with the exception of the butter. Cut butter into the combined topping ingredients with a pastry blender until thoroughly blended.

    Sprinkle top of Pie Filling with Crumb Topping. Bake pie in 400 degrees oven for 30 minutes.
