    List of Ingredients




    2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4
    c. warm water
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk, cooled
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    4 1/2 c. flour

    Recipe



    Stir in all ingredients except flour. Use 2 cups flour.
    Blend 1/2 minute on low. Mix 2 minutes more. Stir in remain-

    ing flour until smooth. Cover, rise 50 to 60 minutes until
    double. On floured board coat lightly with flour. Dough is
    soft. Roll 1/2 inch thick. Cut with doughnut cutter. Lift
    carefully. Place on well greased sheet. Cover; let rise
    about
    20 minutes. Heat oven to 425 degrees. Bake 8 to 10 minutes
    until
    brown. Glaze warm.
