    3 lbs. chuck steak, cut about 1 1/2" thick
    1 env. (2 1/4 oz.) spaghetti sauce mix with tomato
    2 cans (1 lb. ea.) small whole potatoes, drained
    2 cans (1 lb. ea.) sliced carrots, drained

    Recipe



    Brown steak slowly 10 min. on each side in lg.
    heavy frying pan with heat proof handle or in
    Dutch oven. While meat brown, prepare
    spaghetti sauce mix with water, following label
    directions; pour over meat; cover. Bake at 350°
    1 hour. Place potatoes and carrots in separate
    piles on top of meat; spoon some of the sauce
    over each; cover. bake 30 min. longer, or until
    meat is tender. Place meat at one side of
    heated serving platter; arrange potatoes and
    carrots around edge. Garnish with parsley.
    Pass sauce in separate bowl to spoon over
    meat. Makes 6 servings.
