    Beef Noodle Casserole for 25

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. med. noodles
    in lg. amount boiling salted water; drain.
    In Dutch oven, combine
    4 lbs. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    cook till meat is lightly browned. Stir in
    2 (1 lb. 12 oz.) cans tomatoes, undrained
    2 (15 oz. cans tomato sauce,
    1 (6 oz.) can chopped mushrooms, drained
    8 oz. sharp process American cheese, shredded (2 c.)
    1 t. dried thyme, crushed
    1 t. dried basil, crushed
    1/2 t. salt
    1/4 t. pepper

    Recipe



    Heat and stir till cheese melts. Spread
    noodles in 2 (13x9x2" baking dishes. Pour
    tomato mixture over; stir into noodles.
    Cover loosely with foil; bake 45 min.
    Uncover, stir lightly; bake 25 min.
    Sprinkle with
    8 oz. sharp process American cheese, shredded (2 c.)
    Bake 5 min. Makes 25 (1 c.) servings.
