Meat Loaf
This is my grandmother's recipe for meatloaf. It is very basic and I had always thought that I was making mine the same way as hers, but I always felt there was something missing. And now that I have been going through her recipes, I now know that it was oatmeal I was missing!
List of Ingredients
- 2 small eggs
- 2 t. salt
- 1 t. mustard
- 1 C. oatmeal
- 1 C. milk
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1lb. hamburger
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients together. Using your hands works the best.
- Place in a well greased loaf pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
Final Comments
You can vary the cooking time. Depending on how well done you like your meat.
