    Stir Fry

    List of Ingredients




    buy:
    Pam spray
    birds eye stir fry frozen vegetables (with teriaki or sweet & sour sauce included in the package)
    uncle ben's long grain and wild rice original style
    chicken breast strips (boneless, skinless; you could get whole chicken breast and cut it up into small slices)
    OR thin beef steaks (sometimes the stores have stir fry beef already packaged...if not, look for thin steaks that you can slice)
    Soy sauce
    carrots

    Recipe



    1. cook rice according to box directions
    2. peel and thickly slice carrots. spray skillet with pam. put in carrots and a little water. cook until almost tender while starting meat.
    3. in another skillet (sprayed with pam) brown meat stirring to brown all sides
    4. add frozen vegetables to carrots. open sauce pack and bury it under vegetables so it will thaw, then stir it, adding a little more water if needed.
    5. i don't mix the two...you could put the meat in with the vegetables after it's brown
    6. sometimes i serve this over ramen noodles instead of rice
