    Honey Chicken Wings

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 pounds of chicken wings
    • Salt
    • Pepper
    • 1 cup honey
    • 1/2 cup soy sauce
    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 2 tablespoons catsup
    • 1/2 garlic clove, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)


    Instructions


    1. Cut off wing tips and set aside. (These can be cooked or frozen to add to soups at a later date.)

    2. Cut remaining wings into 2 pieces each.

    3. Sprinkle wings with salt and pepper.

    4. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well.

    5. Place wings in a shallow casserole dish and pour above mixture over them.

    6. Bake in 375 degree oven for about one hour or until chicken is well done and sauce is caramelized.

    7. Or, place wings in a slow cooker and pour sauce over them. Cook at high heat for 6 to 8 hours.



    Final Comments


    You can now buy chicken wings already cut and ready to cook. This is a great dish to take to pot lucks.
