List of Ingredients



• 1/2 cup Shortening
  
• 1/2 cup sugar
  
• 1 oz bottle of red food coloring
  
• 2 eggs
  
• 2 tsp. vanilla
  
• 1tbsp. vinegar
  
• 1 cup buttermilk
  
• 2 cups flour
  
• 1 tbsp. cocoa
  
• 1 tsp. salt
  
• 1 tsp. baking soda
  






Instructions



1. Cream shortening, sugar. Add red food coloring, eggs, vanilla. Mix vinegar and buttermilk together then add. Mix together flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda. Then combine with wet mixture.
   
2. Bake 30 min. at 350 degrees.
