    SEVERAL GALS FROM DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS WOULD GATHER WEEKLY TO EXCHANGE RECIPES WHEN WE WERE STATIONED AT RAMSTEIN AIR BASE IN GERMANY. THIS CAME FROM MY NEIGHBOR FROM THE PHILLIPINES.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 CUPS FLOUR
    • 3 CUPS WATER
    • 3 TABLESPOONS OIL
    • DASH OF SALT
    • FILLING#1;
    • BROWNED GROUND BEEF
    • SHREDDED CARROTS
    • SHREDDED CABBAGE
    • WATER CHESTNUTS
    • FILLING #2:
    • COOKED SHRIMP
    • SHREDDED CABBAGE
    • CAN OF ORIENTAL VEGETABLES


    Instructions


    1. MIX FLOUR, WATER, OIL AND SALT FOR EGG ROLLS. BATTER WILL BE VERY THIN.
    2. USE A NONSTICK OMELETT PAN---"PAINT" BATTER INTO GREASED PAN.
    3. COOK ON MEDIUM HEAT, THEY COOK QUICKLY.
    4. REMOVE FROM PAN AND STACK BETWEEN SHEETS OF WAXED PAPER OR PAPER TOWELS.
    5. AFTER MAKING WRAPPERS. SELECT YOUR FAVORITE FILLING
    6. FILL EACH EGG ROLL WRAPPER AND FOLD SHUT, SEAL BY USING WATER AROUND THE OUTSIDE EDGES.
    7. FRY COMPLETED ROLLS IN HOT GREASE TIL GOLDEN.
    8. THESE EGG ROLLS CAN BE FROZEN FOR LATER USE BEFORE FRYING.
