    EASY FOR LITTLE FINGERS TO EAT AND THE BIG GUYS LOVE THEM TOO.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 CUP MASHED POTATOES (MASHED WITH MILK AND BUTTER)
    • 1/4 CUP SUGAR
    • 1 EGG, BEATEN
    • 1/2 CUP SOUR CREAM
    • 1/2 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
    • 1 1/2 CUPS FLOUR
    • 1/2 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
    • 1/4 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
    • COOKING OIL FOR DEEP-FAT FRYING


    Instructions


    1. IN A BOWL, COMBINE POTATOES, SUGAR, EGG, SOUR CREAM AND VANILLA.
    2. COMBINE DRY INGREDIENTS; STIR INTO POTATO MIXTURE.
    3. HEAT OIL TO ABOUT 375 DEGREES.
    4. DROP DOUGH BY TEASPOONFULS INTO HOT GREASE AND FRY ABOUT ONE MINUTE PER SIDE.
    5. DRAIN ON PAPER TOWEL
    6. ROLL IN POWDERED SUGAR OR CINNAMON AND SUGAR IF DESIRED.
    7. MAKES 3 TO 3 1/2 DOZEN
