- 2 TABLESPOONS BAKING POWDER
- 1 TEASPOON SALT
- 3 TABLESPOONS CRISCO
- 1- 1 1/2 CUPS WATER
- HONEY
Instructions
- SIFT TOGETHER FLOUR,BAKING POWDER, AND SALT.
- CUT IN SHORTENING.
- ADD ENOUGH WATER TO MAKE A SOFT DOUGH.
- ROLL OUT DOUGH UNTIL 1/4 INCH THICK
- CUT INTO 3 INCH SQUARES.
- DEEP FRY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN, DRAIN ON PAPER TOWEL.
- SERVE WARM WITH HONEY.
