    ROLLED "POT ROAST"

    THIS IS A NEW TWIST ON AN OLD FAVORITE, I LEARNED WHILE IN GERMANY. MY FAMILY LOVES THIS.


    List of Ingredients


    • FAMILY SIZED ROUND STEAK, TENDERIZED
    • 1 POTATO FOR EACH PERSON
    • 2 CARROTS FOR EACH PERSON
    • 1 ONION
    • SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE


    Instructions


    1. LAY TENDERIZED MEAT OUT ON FLAT SURFACE.
    2. PLACE ALL VEGETABLE IN FOOD PROCESSOR TO SHREDD.
    3. PLACE SHREDDED VEGETABLES IN MEAT, SALT AND PEPPER.
    4. ROLL UP JELLY ROLL FASHION AND SECURE SHUT WITH TOOTHPICKS.
    5. PLACE IN COVERED BAKING PAN, ADD JUST ENOUGH WATER TO COVER THE BOTTOM.
    6. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES ABOUT 45 TO 60 MINUTES.


    Final Comments


    WE USUALLY LIKE EXTRA VEGETABLES SO I PLACE SHREDDED VEGETABLES AROUND THE FILLED-ROLLED MEAT AND COOK ALL TOGETHER. MAKES IT'S OWN GRAVY.
