    SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS

    THIS WAS THE FAVORITE OF OUR SON, ANDY, NOW HIS NEICE, ALISON, TRIES TO OUTEAT HIM WITH THE GIANT BOWLS OF SPAGHETTI. THEY ARE BOTH LUCK TO STILL BE VERY VERY THIN !!


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 POUNDS GROUND BEEF
    • 1 CUP BREAD CRUMBS OR CRUSHED SALTINES
    • 1 TABLESPOON OREGANO
    • 1 TABLESPOON MINCED DRIED ONION
    • 1/2 CUP GRATED PARMESEAN CHEESE
    • SAUCE;
    • 2 CANS CRUSHED TOMATOES (LARGE)
    • 2 CANS TOMATO PASTE (LARGE)
    • 2 CUPS WATER
    • 1 TABLESPOON OREGANO
    • 1 TABLESPOON CHILI POWDER
    • SALT TO TASTE
    • ANGEL HAIR SPAGHETTI.


    Instructions


    1. MIX INGREDIENTS FOR MEATBALLS TOGETHER. FORM BALLS,PLACE ON BAKING SHEET.
    2. BAKE IN OVEN 350 DEGREES 20 TO 30 MINUTES, DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF THE MEATBALLS.
    3. MEANWHILE MIX ALL INGREDIENTS FOR SAUCE IN LARGE POT.
    4. WHEN MEATBALLS ARE COMPLETELY BROWNED REMOVE FROM OVEN.
    5. DRAIN ON PAPER TOWEL. ADD TO SAUCE. COOK SLOWLY ABOUT 2 HOURS.
    6. SERVE OVER COOKED ANGEL HAIR PASTA.


    Final Comments


    TO MAKE A QUICK SAUCE I USE I JAR OF FIVE BROTHER'S BURGANDY WINE SPAGHETTI SAUCE WITH 2 CANS OF CRUSHED TOMATOES. YUMMY!!
