    Chocolate-n-Oat Bars


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup unsifted flour
    • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
    • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
    • 1/2 cup margarine/butter softened
    • 1 (14 oz.) can Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT Evaporated Milk)
    • 1 cup chopped nuts
    • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350. (325 for glass dish)
    2. In large bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar and margarine; mix well.
    3. Reserving 1/2 cup oat mixture, press remainder on bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    4. Bake 10 minutes.
    5. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crust.
    6. Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips.
    7. Top with remaining oat mixture; press down firmly.
    8. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
    9. Cool.
    10. Cut into bars.
