    1 cup flour
    1/2 cup cornstarch
    1/2 cup icing sugar
    3/4 cup margarine
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe



    In a medium bowl combine flour, cornstarch and icing sugar. In large bowl beat margarine at medium speed until smooth. Add flour mixture and vanilla; beat until well blended. If necessary refrigerate 1 hour or until easy to handle. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place 1-1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets, flatten with lightly floured fork. Bake at 375º F for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove; cool on wire rack. Store in tightly covered container. Makes 3 dozen. Tastes just like real shortbread.
