    Recipe Introduction


    It's a long story why I like liver and it involves a college diner. Here is something a bit different.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pound calf liver
    • 2 tbsp French Dressing [see salad dressings on here]
    • 2 cups salt water
    • 8 slices bacon


    Instructions


    1. IF the liver still has a skin: Soak liver in salt water for 30 minutes then scald in boiling water. Remove outside skin and veins
    2. Sprinkle with French dressing and let stand 1 hour in refrigerator. Drain and slice into 3 strips.
    3. Deep fry in hot fat [380F] for 3 to 5 minutes. Drain on brown paper.
    4. Fry bacon crisp and use as garnish.
    5. Serves 4.


    Final Comments


    Every kids nightmare.. French fries turned into liver.
