    2 tablespoons powdered milk
    1/4 cup water
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    1 egg
    1/2 cup dark brown sugar
    1/4 cup honey
    2 tablespoons molasses
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    3 to 3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup white flour

    Mix powdered milk and water together and then add lemon
    juice and mix. In a separate bowl, beat eggs until light,
    then add brown sugar, honey, molasses, oil, and vanilla.
    Add the milk mixture. Stir salt and baking soda into 3 cups
    of the flour and combine with egg mixture. Continue to add
    flour until the dough is very stiff.

    Preheat oven to 375.

    Line cookie sheets with foil or parchment paper. Roll dough
    out on cookie sheet (or on foil on counter) until it is 1/8
    inch thick. Lightly mark out squares with a knife and use a
    fork to prick the squares every inch or so. Bake about 15
    minutes or until lightly browned. Cut into square
    immediately and cool.
