    note from recipe submitter:
    I have used this recipe for YEARS to make "butter" out of margarine.

    List of Ingredients




    1 pound SOFTENED stick margarine
    1 cup vegetable oil
    1 cup buttermilk

    Recipe



    Mix all ingredients together and store in 2 1-gallon tubs that butter
    or margarine come in. It makes 2 pounds.

    NOTE: Make sure that you SOFTEN the margarine, don't melt it.
