Recipe
This is a way to dry-pack practically any dry product, including wheat,
other grains, raisins and other dried fruit. The lid will usually not
"ping" as it does in wet-pack canning, so you'll need to keep the rings
on
the jars, but the rubber softens and forms a seal so no bugs can get
in,
and the 200-degree temp kills any bugs/eggs that may already be present
in
the product.
