    Farm Journal’s Country Cookbook 1972

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/4 c. milk
    8 c. finely shredded cabbage
    2 T. flour
    1/4 c. milk
    2 T. butter
    1 t. salt
    1/8 t. pepper

    Recipe



    Heat 1 1/4 c. milk over medium heat. Add cabbage. Cover and simmer 2
    minutes.

    Meanwhile, blend together the flour and remaining milk. Add to cabbage
    along with remaining ingredients. Stir until mixture comes to a boil.
    Cover and continue cooking over low heat 2 minutes more. Serve in small
    bowls.
