    My Sister-In-Law

    Recipe Introduction

My sister-in-law made this dessert for us when we visited them in London, and it was FANTASTIC!!

    List of Ingredients

    CRUST:
    1-1/2 cups flour
    1-1/2 Tblsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    2 Tblsp. milk

    FILLING:
8 cups thinly sliced baking apples (about 7-8 apples)
    1 cup sugar
    2 Tblsp. flour
    3 Tblsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon

    TOPPING:
    1 cup flour
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 stick butter

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

For the crust, combine flour, sugar, salt, oil and milk. Press into an 8" deep-dish pan. (be sure to press it up on the sides also)

For the filling, toss the apples in the sugar, cinnamon and flour. Place them on the crust and dot with butter.

For the topping, combine the flour and sugar. Cut in the butter until it resembles coarse meal. Spread evenly over the apples. Cover the pie lightly with foil and bake for 25-35 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 15 minutes.
