Bread Pudding

List of Ingredients

1 cup cream
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 Tblsp. butter (melted)
1 tsp. cinnamon
10 slices of bread, cubed (or as I discovered while experimenting… a package of hot dog buns works well too)

Sauce:
2/3 cups sugar
2 Tblsp. cornstarch
1 cup water
7 Tblsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla


Recipe

In a large bowl, mix eggs, milk, cream, sugar, melted butter and cinnamon. Add bread and pour into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Cover with foil and let sit overnight (or at least 4 hours).

Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 1 hour (watch for doneness).

In a saucepan, melt the butter, and add sugar, cornstarch, water and boil over medium heat. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Serve warm over pudding.
